Eyelash Extensions
What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash Extensions are an exciting new way to extend the length and thickness of your eyelashes. They are applied on a hair-by-hair basis to your own eyelashes for a completely natural look.
Will Eyelash Extensions damage my natural lash?
When done correctly by a professional, Eyelash Extensions will not damage your natural lash. Extensions must be placed individually, not in clumps and must be seperated properly in order for lashes to grow naturally. Many places do the mistake of “stacking” which cause damage to the lash by pulling them out in clusters or weighing them down causing irritation. That is why it is important that this procedure must be done by a licensed professional who’s had extensive training in Eyelash Extensions. Also, to prevent damage, do not rub, pull or pluck out any Extensions yourself. Let them fall out naturally and if you do decide you want them off sooner, Allow Nikki to remove them for you using Professional Eyelash Extension Adhesive Remover.
How long do they last?
The initial set lasts for up to two months but Nikki recommends you come in 2 to 3 weeks after initial full set of application to replace any eyelashes that may have fallen out. How long your eyelash extensions will last really depends on two things – how well you follow the aftercare instructions, and your own natural eyelash growth cycle.
Is the Eyelash Extension glue safe for my eyes?
Yes, absolutely! Eyelash extensions are completely safe and painless. The adhesive used during the service is medically graded and formaldehyde-free. When done correctly by a professional, the glue or extension never comes in contact with the skin but to your natural hair only, therefore, should not cause any reaction or irritation.
How long is the process?
The process takes at least 1-hour to 1.5-hours depending on the set you choose and fullness.
What can I do to prepare for this procedure?
Arrive with no make-up. We would need a clean base in order for proper adhesion. To have a more relaxed experience, avoid any caffeinated beverages before your treatment. If you wear contact lenses, it is best to take them out before your treatment to avoid dryness.
Who is not a good candidate for this procedure?
You are not a candidate if you rub your eyes frequently, this will cause the extension to fall out sooner. You have highly sensitive skin, extreme allergies, watery eyes, very curly or thin fragile lashes, or no lashes.
Can I wear mascara?
It is not recommended. Nikki uses natural gloss to high gloss shine eyelash extensions that creates the effect of using mascara. Most mascaras are oil based therefore will cause the adhesion to break up sooner. Waterproof mascara is also very difficult to remove, therefore causing extensions to clump together.
Eyelash Perm
Is it safe?
Yes. It is painless and non invasive. It is rather a quite relaxing experience. Minimal fume of the solution may be experienced initially but diminishes in a couple of seconds. Our technique has been used for almost a decade to ensure the best quality performance and result.
If I’m nursing or pregnant, is it safe?
To ensure the safety and well being of our client, we highly don’t recommend lash perms to our clients that are pregnant or nursing.

Duration of the entire perm service is about 45-60min.
How long do the results last?
Results last 6-8 wks or the entire lifespan of a single lash which is every 60-90 days. New lashes will then be replenished, therefore, we ask that you come back every 6-8wks for your lash perm.
Is it possible to have a skin reaction?
It is very rare that we experience any skin reaction, but if you have sensitive skin or just want to see if you are a candidate, please do not hesitate to come in for a patch test. Set up an appointment for a 24 hr patch test with our technicians and we will gladly help you out. We always want to ensure that our clients experience will always be a comfortable one.
What should I do before the service?
Prior to your appointment, for contact lens wearers we advise you to please remove your contacts. You may bring solution and case to your appointment. Also, we do ask that you arrive with no eye makeup to ensure the best results. If you are coming from work, no problem, just ask any of our technician for makeup remover and you may remove them at our salon. No Caffeine. For a calmer experience, laying off caffeine prior to your service is recommended.
How do I care for them?
After your perm, we advise to not wet the eye area for 12hrs. For makeup, any non waterproof mascara is recommend to ensure that lashes stay soft and moisturized, other than that, ENJOY your lashes!
What does the process involve?
Consultation. We will choose a rod that is right for the curl you want and the length of your lash. We will then have you in a lying position on your back as we apply the rods with your eyes closed. 3 different solutions will then be applied in 10-15min intervals (people are usually asleep by this time). Once done, you will wake up to beautiful lashes! Easy as 1-2-3! Perms are recommended to be done every 6-8wks thereafter.
